Rękawka 2011

Rekawka is a tradition of Krakow, Poland. Taking place right after Easter (on Tuesday) it origins from XVII century (or at least is mentioned back then).

Nowadays, on this day, the event that takes place is about the traiditons of early Middle Ages, and features different things – from showing the burial practices of that times to the duelling & battle.

A nice way to spend a day.
